Eastern Kingsnakes Mosaic Easterns- This project began with a naturally occurring variant propagated by Kevin Enge. Mosaic-type individuals have appeared in several populations of eastern kings in the southeast, most notably from South Carolina and Georgia. The trait is extremely variable, with expressions ranging from wide-banded but otherwise normally patterned individuals to patterns reduced to geometric black squares over a white background to completely or partially striped individuals. All forms are beautiful and we are very excited to be working with this project. Click here to view available Mosaic Easterns
New Jersey Easterns- New Jersey is about the northern-most of the eastern kingsnake's geographic range. Animals from this state are under represented in collections, but are quite beautiful with jet black base colors and bright white chains. Most of the specimens we have also have very thin, precise bands only 1-2 scales wide and very symmetrically spaced. At this time, our collection of New Jersey easterns is very small and comprised of individuals only from Cumberland county. We have seen specimens from Cape May and Atlantic counties, but have so far been unable to procure any of these individuals. To us, this form is the epitome of the wild "Chain Kings" from my youth and represent a nostalgic project for us. Click here to view available New Jersey Easterns
